The Offspring Plan 2009 Tour

The Offspring members Dexter Holland and Noodles were interviewed on the Los Angeles radio station KROQ prior to their December 13, 2008 performance at the annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas at the Gibson Amphitheatre in L.A. Watch the chat here.

In the interview, The Offspring members discuss their recent activities, the making of their latest album "Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace", and Dexter Holland's Gringo Bandito hot sauce.

Asked about their future, Noodles mentioned that the band would be taking a break from touring before they they get back on the road in the U.S. this year.

"Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace" came out last year and is their first album of new material in five years, since 2003's "Splinter".

The album sold very well due to the success of its latest single "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid", which spent 11 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart, proving the song to be one of the most successful singles the band has released in their twenty-four-year career.

Yeah we already knew this, and to hell with touring in other countries. Take care of North America first. We've been waiting for far too long. Every other country has had some kind of something, and the eastern U.S. has gotten nothing.

they best tour america, seems they have been touring everywhere except the states for a while. i hope they come to richmond or norfolk virgina, i hate it when bands tour and only go to dc. i cant drive 5 hours to dc and thats usually the closest show.
