The Offspring Plan Club Tour
According to Punknews.org, The Offspring frontman Dexter Holland has been suggesting plans for a club show to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their 1992 full length and Epitaph Records debut, "Ignition". Holland wasn't too cryptic this time around, saying: "Hard to believe Ignition came out 20 years ago this year! Maybe to celebrate we should do some little club shows and just play all of 'Ignition'... would anyone be into that?" Since the release of "Ignition", The Offspring became one of the biggest independent bands on the planet, selling more than 12 million copies of 1994's "Smash", a first for an independent label and a feat yet to be matched by any indie release. As previously reported, The Offspring have finished recording their anticipated new album. Expected to be released this summer, the still-untitled record will be the band's first since 2008's "Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace" as well as their first recording with drummer Pete Parada, who has been a member of The Offspring since 2007.
