The Rolling Stones Announced North American Tour Dates
The Rolling Stones finally released dates for their "50 and Counting" North American tour, Billboard reports. Watch the revealed part of the tour schedule below. As reported earlier, AEG Live will promote the North American shows. A source confirmed to Billboard that AEG Live has 18 shows to work with; only nine shows have been announced thus far, so multiples are a given. Essentially, the Stones are treating these shows as "destination" events, which - given the international appeal of the five 50th anniversary shows last December in London and the New York area - is an approach they can undertake with confidence. What's more, the legendary british rockband announced their headining Hyde Park show this July, NME reports. The rock legends will perform at the central London location as part of the Barclaycard presents British Summer Time festival. Support on the day will come from The Vaccines, The Temper Trap, Gary Clark Jr and King Charles, plus Palma Violets, Tribes, the Boxer Rebellion and more across three other stages. Tickets for The Rolling Stones in Hyde Park go on general sale at 9am Friday, April 5. 05/TBA - Los Angeles - Staples Center 05/05 - Oakland - Oracle Arena 05/08 - San Jose - HP Pavilion 05/11 - Las Vegas - MGM Grand Garden Arena 05/15 - Anaheim - Honda Center 05/25 - Toronto, Canada - Air Canada Centre 05/28 - Chicago - United Center 06/12 - Boston - TD North Garden 06/18 - Philadelphia - Wells Fargo Center
