Excuse my slow-mindedness, but would somebody care to explain me what curse word that is? It's bugging my head

OnTopic: I'll surely go if they come to Oslo, I've always wanted to see The Who, even in this state

Nice...I've seen the Who twice now,why not add a third time?

And it took me a few seconds to figure that 'bloody' was the magic word of the day. In America,it just means covered in blood. Pardon my confusion.

I saw them when they went to Winnipeg in 2006. It was a great concert, but I'm not sure that I'd go see them again.

sounds cool I'd go but I wont have the money it's not like their that great anymore without their bassist
and their drummers obviously not in the shape he once was at his age now.

YES! i've always felt gutted how i was born after the '70s thus missing out on The Who and other great bands, (and the whole Punk Scene), but now i will finally have a chance to see The Who live!! :O also, this obviously isn't gunna be as good as the Who back in the '70s, because he said he's only doing %25 songs by The Who

The drummer, keith moon, died in 1978. Zak Starkey (ringo starr's son) is currently their drummer, for live performances at least. So, from the original lineup, only Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey remain.

That is for roger daltrey's solo tour. The lead vocalist of The Who is touring into 2009 to keep his voice in shape for the 2010 pending Who tour, which will be amazing and I will go to.

The Who have some of the best musicians in the world. Roger is my favorite singer above Jim Morrison and Freddie Mercury. John Entwistle is one of my favorite bassists (long live his Stratus Buzzard). Keith Moon is my second favorite drummer behind Pete de Freitas (note that if I didn't hear of Pete before, Keith would be my favorite). As for Pete Townshend, Heaven & Hell from Live At Leeds says it all right there.

So sad the best rhythm second ever to exist is dead. It's just not the same. Those bass solos John does are beyond unbeleivable. Both Keith and John died like rockstars (Keith died of a drug overdose, John died in a hotel room with a cocaine overdose with a stripper). God, I wonder how Roger and pete are going to go out?

wow....thats all i have to say to the drummer comment

but anyway i think they have pino palladino on bass now and hes incredible, so they still have a lot of the force they had with john

from what i heard, zach, was keith moon's son with one of his old gf or w/e.

I don't understand why they starred out 'bloody'. That word is almost more common than 'and' in England...

nah it's Ringo Starr (aka Richard Starkey)'s son Zack Starkey. Keith was a good friend of Ringo's, so Zack was taught to play drums by his 'uncle' Keith

guitarded32 :
I saw a video of one of their recent tours and I can't help but be surpirised how many people are actually excited to see them, especially after seeing them once before in this condition. They are not a very good live band, especially after losing the two great musicians they had. Roger Daltrey is not a very good live singer.

I'm a big Who fan!!! Even though it's only half the Who it still would be a great show. They batter come to St. Louis

AcdcTXfan :
It's The Who as long as Daltrey and Townshend are in the band. But I'd rather hear more of The Who's tracks than Daltrey's own.

nmitchell076 :
the title is a little misleading should be "Who vocalist promises solo tour does not spell end for The Who"

The article sayes more about Roger's tour then the plans for the 2010 Who tour
