Trapt Set Headlining Shows

Californian rockers Trapt have sandwiched their next round of opening performances for Nickelback with a series of their own headlining dates, reports LiveDaily.com.

Trapt hits the stage Mississippi and Louisiana this Thursday, Feb. 23 and Friday, Feb. 24, respectively, and will squeeze in a few additional shows in Texas, plus a one-off stop in Arkansas, before re-teaming with Nickelback in Arizona on Mar. 3.

The band will then spend the rest of March opening for the Canadian headliners before tackling a series of its own April shows. Details are included below.

Trapt's first round of opening dates for Nickelback kicked off in mid-January and wrapped up earlier this month. Trapt continues to back last year's "Someone In Control." The album, which follows the group's 2002 self-titled debut, features the new single "Waiting."

they're really good, I first heard them a while back when their first CD came out. I went to see them live and they're real good live. IMO their first CD is better...but not by much, both their CDs are definately worth picking up

I think "Someone In Control" is written better than the self-titled album. They're both great but "SIC" seems to be deeper than the first one.

I personally can't stand these guys or Nickelback. I think Trapt think they're too tough for the world, and I lost respect for Nickelback when I heard "and what the hell is on Joey's head?". If they tour with Thousand Foot Krutch though, I would see them, I love their earlier stuff and the new song that's being played often.

i liked the song headstrong, and the one other song i have heard by them. thousand foot krutch is good too. dont really like nickelback tho, and since im in the middle of nowhere i probably wont get to see them. it sucks

Not a Trapt fan, New Beginnings and Enigma are nice ballady songs mind. Stories is the worst acoustic song I've ever heard though!

headstrong was good, until i heard it fifty thousand Fuckin times on the radio. Thats why i hate mainstream bands. There stuff gets so much play that you begin to hate it. Like Green Day.

Indeed, their old stff is way better. In my opinion, trapt was a one hit wonder with headstrong. all of nickelbacks songs sound the same to me too.

yes they may be a mainstream band but youve got to agree with me that despite the oer paly of headstrong the rest of their cd was good. and that they generaly make good rock music

come on, i can believe you just said that. stories was great. i loved that track. yes they may have ballady songs but you cannot deny that they are enjoyable

i am truely the biggest fan of trapt ever ive been trying so hard to get to one of there shows but with school its so hard i listen to there cd someone in control at least 2 times a day.

every song on that album is awesome but my personal favorite is product of my own design
