Warped Tour Announces 2009 Lineup

The lineup for the 2009 incarnation of the Warped Tour was recently announced via the tour’s website. To help celebrate the tour’s 15th anniversary, this year’s lineup contains a mix of Warped Tour favorites like Bad Religion and Anti-Flag, but also has some newcomers like Black Tide thrown in for good measure.

Great line-up this year IMO. DGD, A skylit Drive, 30h3, Saosin, Bad Religion, Chiodos, etc. There always is not-so-great bands, but the good outweighs the bad. And they always get more bands to sign on later. Hopefully Coheed, Funeral for a Friend, Rise Against, or Paamore perhaps will join, all of whom missed last year due to recording. I hope I can go this year.

Alot of these bands suck.I have listened to most all of them at some point or another. Flogging Molly and bad religion are ok, but the rest is now all a bunch of emo crap. (there are a few other good ones, but thats not the point here)

NoFX,Bad Religion,Flogging Molly,Streetlight Manifesto,Big D& the Kids Table are 5 of my favorite bands. Thrice is one of my favorite bands ever, but it's not worth it to just see them (and Bayside and Bouncing Souls) when the sets are only 40 minutes.

I agree, there are some pretty bad bands, but there are more punk bands then there were in the past 2 years. The whole "scene" thing will die down in a year or 2 and Warped will be what it once was.

What happened to this being a rock tour? some good bands but a bunch of pointless filler crap. And the only thing close to good are core shit is devil wears prada, and black tide (they played at ozzfest last yr)
