3 Doors Down Still Sore At Nickelback?

Could 3 Doors Down still be sore at Nickelback? 3 Doors Down is currently prepping the release of their new self-titled album, and it's their first with drummer Greg Upchurch. Upchurch, who was with Puddle Of Mudd, replaced Daniel Adair, who Nickelback had "stolen" from 3 Doors Down after their tour together a few years back.

3 Doors Down was not happy with the situation at the time, and we asked vocalist Brad Arnold and guitarist Matt Roberts if they're still angry at Nickelback.

[Arnold] "You know what? Honestly, since the last time we've spoken, we haven't spoken to them. I haven't talked to those guys in..." [Roberts] "Obviously we're thankful to have Greg. It's water under the bridge, and it worked out for the best because we've got a better drummer. It just really worked out, and it's like, 'whatever.' We've moved on and we're a better band for what's happened. So, we're thankful."

3 Doors Down's self-titled album will hit stores May 20, and they've already hit the road to get people amped up for the new album. It features the smash single "It's Not My Time," and dates in the U.S. are currently booked through May 24. The band will play the U.K. in late May, early June. 3 Doors Down is great. Nickelback just reuses the same sounds and basic layouts for each of their songs.

I hope this new album sort of goes back to The Better Life style. I never got into anything after that. And btw, 3DD is way better than Nickelback. Altough i do admit i like a few nicklback songs and i think they have some talent, nickelback ha just latched onto specific sound, and keeps recycling it over and over and over again in every song. not to mention kroeger cant write good glyrics, at least not anymore.

First off Nickelback is too mainstream, second of all STP really? STP is 10 times worse than Nickelback and thats saying somthing. STP is done they need to just quit now before they just break up again in a year when Weiland goes back to rehab.

Those who dismiss music because of its popularity are stupid. If you won't give music a chance because it is mainstream makes you as bad as someone who won't give music a chance because it isn't mainstream. Granted most mainstream music suck *cough*rap*cough* this isn't a valid reason to dismiss it all together. 3DD is better than Nickelback because at least they don't stick to the same exact formula
