The Beach Boys are set to release 'Warmth Of The Sun' which is the bands follow up to 2004's double-platinum album 'Sounds Of Summer: The Very Best Of The Beach Boys.' This new collection delves deeper into The Beach Boys musical legacy with hits like 'Sail On, Sailor', 'The Little Girl I Once Knew' and 'Feel Flows.' Within The Warmth Of The Suns three decade-spanning tracklist, much of The Beach Boys most accomplished work is represented and it presents a firm example as to the legacy of The Beach Boys.
We caught up with original Beach Boys Brian Wilson and Al Jardine to discuss what their fans will be getting with this release.

"This is the first time that we are going to have songs from the CBS/Warner Brothers collection that was merged into the Capitol collection so now you're going to hear music that you've never heard before and there's lots more to come."
Brian Wilson went on to talk about never wearing the album out.

"It's a compilation of mostly 70's things and stuff and it's real good. You'll never wear it out. It's new and undiscovered music and more to come."
'The Warmth Of The Sun' which was compiled and sequenced by The Beach Boys Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, Mike Love, and Brian Wilson is set for release on Capitol Records on May 15th. It was also recently announced that The Beach Boys 1966 release 'Pet Sounds', which is hailed as one of the most influential and important albums of the 20th Century, will be rereleased as a Limited Edition 40th Anniversary CD+DVD package. The CD includes both the original mono and remixed stereo versions and The DVD video features 'The Making of Pet Sounds' which is a documentary with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the band.
