Clearly one of the best touring Rock festivals in the summer of 2009 will be Cruefest 2, which features a heaving hitting lineup of Motley Crue, Godsmack, Theory Of A Deadman, Drowning Pool and Charm School Devils. Motley Crue's initial Cruefest in 2008 was such a success the band will look to make this an annual event. Cruefest 2 will be Godsmack's first tour together since 2007 and the band, who are in the studio recording a new album will showcase new material on Cruefest 2 this summer.
Artisan News caught up with lead vocalist
Sully Erna to get his thoughts on the great opportunity it is for
Godsmack to tour with
Motley Crue on
Cruefest 2.
"I'm really excited about it because I think it's a good opportunity for Godsmack to come out, since we've been off the road for a couple of years now and just kind of show our faces again and say hi to everyone and let them know we're coming out with a new record."
Cruefest 2 tour dates kick off July 19th in Hamden, NJ and extend until August 21st in Virginia Beach, Va.
