The legendary David Gilmour has completed his touring in support of his latest solo release, 'On An Island'. The album, which hit #1 in the UK and peaked at #6 in the US, was re-released in November with a bonus DVD of live performances from his AOL Music sessions.

The album has already been certified platinum and although Gilmour only did a handful of US Tour dates, here are a few pictures taken by photographer Brian Miller April 20th, 2006 at The Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles, Ca. David's album features Gilmours unmistakable guitar tone and voice which helped propel Pink Floyd to one of the worlds most successful bands ever!

Even to this day the original four members of Pink Floyd (Gilmour, Roger Waters, Nick Mason and Rick Wright) continue to turn to down hundreds of millions of guaranteed money to tour yet again. Although the band did reconcile for Live 8 last summer, rumors continue about a possible return.
