We caught up with Todd of Big Head Todd to get his thoughts on being asked to be a part of The Green Apple Festival and doing his part to raise awareness of our Global Climate crisis.

"It's something that we felt good about, being able to participate in, obviously. The aim of it is to raise environmental awareness and I think we're all sort of coming to the conclusion that we're all dependent on each other and dependent on our environment, so. It's something that we all care about."

We also talked with Todd about recording his latest album 'All the Love You Need' at his studio, which just happens to be solar powered.

"Well the biggest thing about being off the grid is you become keenly aware of how much power you use and how much power you waste. So that's one of the biggest things that I've learned from it."

Earth Day Network, the non-profit organization created by the original founders of Earth Day in 1970, and Green Apple Festival brought together world environmental leaders, community activists, A-list talent and crowds in the hundreds of thousands to make this one of the largest Earth Day gatherings in U.S. history.

I went to the one in LA I stood there for 5 hours waiting for Ziggy and he only played for 15 minutes. It was worth it though he was pretty ****in good. Just wish I could have stayed a bit longer to catch Taj Mahal.
