He Is Legend are back together after briefly breaking up. Vocalist Schuyler Croom revealed in our interview that the band actually broke up earlier this year after label and touring pressures led to motivational and career doubts. The group has re-emerged with Suck Out The Poison, which was released on October 3.
The band started having troubles during a pre-release tour.
Croom told us that if not for some deep introspection,
Suck Out The Poison might not have seen the light of day.

"Everyone was like, 'Where is this band going right now?' Because we basically broke up. It was like, 'This is pretty much over.' And we got home and re-evaluated things and kind of did the scraping the s--t off your shoe and came back out. I really feel like this is the strongest we've ever been. We've seen what it's like to fail, we've seen what it's like to give up, and we've seen what it's like to be fed up. It's like the wind blows and then you're like, 'OK we don't we need to do this harder, we need to give it more.'"
Croom talked about leaving the tour and the state of the band earlier this year.

"You know we got lumped into everything. We got lumped into the nine-to-five rock and roll life, which is depressing. I think that with, we had some personal problems. This friend of ours who we grew up with passed away when we were in Canada. We had to haul ass to get back home. We drove a long time, like 30 something hours to get home -- a silent van with everybody trying to avoid the situation."
He Is Legend wraps up their tour with Silverstein and Aiden on November 25, and then has a few dates opening up for Sevendust in December. Check the heislegend.com website for the bands upcoming schedule.
