Marilyn Manson has released his new album, Eat Me, Drink Me on June 5, and it's his second album without Twiggy Ramirez, the former bassist and guitarist. Ramirez is now known by Jeordie White, and he's fully detached himself from Manson after their 2002 split.
White has his band with Chris Goss, Goon Moon, and he's also in the 2007 touring edition of Nine Inch Nails. He talked about the split with the Marilyn Manson.

"When people leave bands one person says he quit and the other person says he was fired. It's like with a divorce, like, 'Oh, I left her' or 'She left me,' 'She left him...' The relationship that we had was just... It was over. It had come to a close where my life was and his life was it was just not the same anymore. At the time it was devastating and it was tough, but it was... Now, I'm so glad that it happened."
White helped pen some of Manson's best work including "The Beautiful People" off the Antichrist Superstar album and "The Dope Show" off the Mechanical Animals collection. White said that he's very proud of what he and Marilyn Manson did creatively.

"Well obviously the work that I'm defined for is the work I did with Marilyn Manson. That's what's going to follow me around for probably the rest of my life. Probably...Maybe not my best work, but definitely my most popular work for sure. It may be my best work. Who knows? It depends on... It was made in a period where we were all on fire and really good at what we were doing. Obviously the work I did with Marilyn Manson would probably be the thing the most proud of."
Jeordie White said that he still is very grateful for his time and experience in Marilyn Manson.

"Being in Marilyn Manson was the best thing that ever happened to me, and leaving it was the best as well. I don't have any regrets or I have nothing bad to say about him. He's one of the most important people in my life -- not right now -- but in my lifetime he's definitely an important person for sure."
White joined Marilyn Manson in the mid-nineties, and the two parted ways in 2002. While Ramirez acknowledged the split with his writing partner was painful, in an online statement at the time Manson acknowledged he was pained as well. Manson craved a new start, and has subsequently released The Golden Age Of Grotesque and now Eat Me, Drink Me. Manson will tour this summer with Slayer.
