That's strange, they're working with Brendan O'Brien, a producer well-known for influencing bands to more melodic than they were before. Rob E is right though. Whatever it's like it'll be good for sure.

If you don't like them, then why open up the article and take the time to even post a comment? If you don't like them then good for you but keep it to yourself. They obviously are doing something right for a band in their genre of music to have as many albums as they have, and have them sell well too.

I'll believe in a really good Killswitch CD post Alive or Just Breathing when I see it.

I wish Jesse would get back with them, Howard would go back to Blood Has Been Shed, and we'd be back with two AWESOME bands. But no, now we have meh Killswitch and meh Seemless.

yeah they took him for some diversity in songs, now if you look at the past artists hes worked with, i can safely say theyll be fine. STP, AC/DC, Mastodon, Pearl Jam are great artists. And Brendans a musician himself, i think KSE are in good hands.

They're not Emo man. People(like this guy really need to get their facts straight.
Just because a band has melodies and clean vocals with lyrics about love and women, whatever... Does not mean they're emo. Emo is a genre of music which Killswitch Engage does not fall into.

I'm going to see them in July! I can't wait! Hopefully they'll do that "new song" thing that they've been doing live.

I was at the golden god awards, and i was utterly amazed by the quality of the entire band. I honestly can't wait for that album to come out if it is half as good as the song they played there, it's going to blow my mind

There's nothing good about this band...they've had one or two decent songs and that's it...they've past their prime, which was before Howard came in...

If you don't like them, then why open up the article and take the time to even post a comment? If you don't like them then good for you but keep it to yourself. They obviously are doing something right for a band in their genre of music to have as many albums as they have, and have them sell well too.

Woah man, he can comment about whatever he wants. It's not against the law. If he wants to post a worthless, ignorant comment then don't bother reading it or even quoting it. So chill.

I actually love Killswitch, but i guess you missed my point.

Mike D says "...it's heavier than ever, it's lighter than ever..." - a band member saying it's lighter, not me.

UG went with the heaviest bit for the headline, but they could've used the lightest bit too.

I haven't heard the new song or any other clips yet, i'll try to wait for the release, but my wish would be to go back towards the Alive Or Just Breathing sound. They set a high standard with that and The End of Heartache.

I think they need a new singer.... or Howard can scream around and have a separate guy that can actually sing, rather than bellow awkwardly. In other news. I might listen to this album.

their singer has one of the most powerful voices i've heard in a long time. but everyone's entitled to their opinions I can't wait for their tour!

As kickass as this band is, the singer's voice is annoying after a while. Probably cause it lacks character.

Is it just me or does the picture on the homepage look more like George Pettit from Alexisonfire than anyone in Killswitch???

On a different note...KSE's new album should be pretty good, looking forward to it! : P

Hasn't calling a new album the band's "heaviest and lightest album yet" in various different wordings become a massive cliche?

anyways, love killswitch but just cant stand the sung choruses anymore (in any metal band). some are good but a lot are just way too rushed like theyre trying too hard.

My thoughts exactly. That's what they are suggesting, if they are going to have a heavier, lighter album with more singing and screaming, than ever...
