KT Tunstall has just wrapped up a handful of dates in support of her latest release Drastic Fantastic, and now she's preparing for the gig of a lifetime. She will join Annie Lennox, Earth Wind and Fire, Melissa Etheridge, Alicia Keys and others for the Nobel Prize concert on December 11 in Oslo, Norway, just days after the awards are given out on December 8.
KT talks about how she got involved in the concert.

"The Nobel Peace Prize was a great surprise for me. I was invited to play by the organizers, and obviously it's an environmentally themed prize this year. I was absolutely delighted to be invited and to be associated with that cause. It's really important to me. I'll be sharing the stage with some great musicians. I very much look forward to the day. I think it's going to be really interesting. I'm sure there are going to be very enlightening things said that evening, and my family is coming out. It's going to be a brilliant, brilliant trip. I'm over the moon."
The Nobel Peace Prize concert will be hosted by Uma Thurman and Tommy Lee Jones, the former Harvard roommate of Al Gore who is being honored for his work on the climate change issue. Gore splits the award with the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
