Mr Lordi Heads Towards North Pole For Christmas

Lordi cemented their place as perhaps one of hard rock/heavy metal's favorite imports from Finland this year, and they attained their first TV show appearance on Conan O'Brien this fall as well. The band was touring in support of their latest album, Deadache, and the costumed musical marauders are currently enjoying a needed break after a worldwide tour stint.

"For me this is really boring, actually. I'm going to my cabin, which is in the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland in the real north, and I'm going there with my wife and my dogs and just watching DVDs. All the movies that I've missed throughout the year have already come out on DVD. So, I'm just sitting, watching DVDs, and getting fatter. That's what I do."

Lordi is set for a run of Festivals this spring, and they'll make another run of the United States in the fall of 2009.

Lordi is the worst band ever created. Idk how they got so big so fast but they must of had to suck alot of cock to get there. I sock cock at music so it all works out. They have the stupidest lyrics "Bite it, bite it,like a bullllldog, like a bulllldog." How gay is that!?seriously. And theyre pussy bitches so they have to wear costumes to make them look manly which only makes them look like Monsters Inc. They're not a bad band, and the lyrics are better than some bands. Look at any Indie band or maybe some Status Quo...they have worse lyrics generally but it doesn't matter. And what's wrong with wearing costumes? I suppose you don't like Slipknot, Kiss, or Alice Cooper either?

In conclusion, this was a filler article, Lordi are an OK band, and canadheadbng22 needs to learn not to waste hisd precious typing time (says me replying to him XD) replying to an article for a band that he doesn't even like.

agreed, music is a prefference, if you dont like a band then why comment on an artical about them.

and im also guessing he's an american because he didnt know how lordi got so big, well over here in europe we have this lame dull boring song contest called eurovision (its only funny when you listen to terry wogan taking the piss out of everything and everyone on it) well LORDI were the first metal band to enter it and funny enough win it. thats how they became so big.

Lordi are what has been missing from the music industry for the last 30 years. Sure their music is dead easy and the lyrics hardly inspiring, but I just can't describe what makes them awesome...
