Plain White T's are set to release their new album Big Bad World on September 23. The effort follows in the footsteps of their album Every Second Counts which spawned the mega hit "Hey There Delilah." The band recorded it in Malibu and Chicago and worked with Johnny K, who helmed the last two Disturbed records and the latest 3 Doors Down record.
The band had a whirlwind ride on the last album including two Grammy nominations. Earlier this year at the Style Studio he talked about what the most surreal part of the ride was.
Watch video: Plain White Ts Most Surreal
"Most surreal part? I mean it's all surreal. Look around. We're getting free.... Everything keeps getting stranger and stranger."
What would be stranger than that is if the band is able to top the success of "Hey There Delilah," which was the fourth single to sell 3 million digital tracks. The first single off of Plain White T's Big Bad World will be "Natural Disaster." A fall tour will be announced shortly.

1. Every Second Counts wasn't their first album. Any dedicated fan would know that.
2. Comparing these guys to crap like Hinder is an insult to Plain White T's.
3. Let's hope this album isn't as pop as their last.POSTED: 07/26/2008 - 06:39 am / quote |

: i was a plain white t's fan 8 years ago when they released their first album. their first 3 albums were great. then "hey there delilah" got big. whatever, props to them. but instead of moving on and making more good music, they kept re releasing and promoting that one song while throwing together terrible music that better suits middle school girls. im not a fan anymore. i dont use this term alot, but ill use it here. SELL OUTS!POSTED: 07/27/2008 - 11:26 am / quote |
