Staind Vs The Jonas Brothers

Staind is going for their fourth consecutive Number One album with The Illusion of Progress, but they're under no illusion of achieving that feat. The reason? The new release by the Jonas Brothers, whose new album A Little Bit Longer is expected to drop in sales, but not so much to relinquish control of the top slot. Perhaps the rock world can save the band on Monday and Tuesday, which are the last days to measure the week's sales.

[Aaron Lewis] "You know, it's not gonna happen so why not be realistic about it." [Mike Mushok] "It would have been nice, but you know what? I don't think any of us thought we would have a number one record, so to have three has been great." [Lewis] "We're perfectly happy with that." [Mushok] "We just did the best we could to make the best record we could."

The band recently played the Ambassadors Of Rock/Save The Music event in New York City, and theyre currently on a North American tour with 3 Doors Down. The band will hit Europe with Nickelback in September.

Exactly. Just because there are more impressionable preteens that follow the same trends in the world doesn't mean Staind has less talent. It's easy to bring in massive sales when almost EVERY kid nine and under listens to your music.

all they are is looks, I even looked up some of their tabs just to support my argument, (and alot of suppord i got) Its like all chords, nothing special. Where are all the good artists like Jimmy Page, Kirk Hammet, Eric Johnson etc...(trust me i could go on) They got popular because apparently they look good, (but you can do anything with makeup nowadays)
