Recent Army of Anyone show? They are still doing stuff? Filter has a new album coming out so I thought they were over. And I just read an article on here that said Velvet Revolver is going to start recording a new album in April. Does anyone understand this?

Actually it's blogged somewhere, and he talks about STP reunion and workin on the next VR album. It's rumored that Duff seems to be over VR, but is he really that great of a bass player? He's replacable.

I hope they don't end VR, but you know what would be cool? if GnR went back together and STP did too, then they both did a tour together.

Filter was stated as a side project I believe.

well does that mean that VR are gonna put out a new album and no tour? or no album altogether?
well if the latter, than so much for slash's hopes of making a supposed '****ing awesome' new vr album that he was so psyched about.

Army of Anyone went on an indefinate hiatus after the tour ended, so almost a year ago. Filter is Richard Patrick's focus. Velvet Revolver has a 3 album contract, so I believe they will make a third album and end it. the band hates eachother.

Yes, GnR going back together would be a sight to see. but Axl is messed up now. He just doesn't have it anymore...

He is actually quite a good bass player. Sure he can be repalced but none the less he is a good at bass.

filter was formed in the 90s...a great rock band...not a new side project.....wow.....

now that actually could happen end of the day the only person that would cause trouble for that would be axl but hes in so much crap cuz hus album isnt gonna make a turn over cuz off the amount of money put into it, and a tour or some shows like that equal big bucks especially if they made a dvd

I love that idea...all except Axl's new band. Don't really care for them but maybe that's just me.

I would really like to see STP and Guns N' Roses back together.

This is nice and all, but it means that Slash, Duff, and Matt are gonna be stuck. There's no way in hell Axl will take them back. And poor Dave will have to retire back to obscurity.

Great, hopefully he will stick with STP and the guys from VR can go look for a "real" singer.

Read Slash's autobiography "Slash". Not only is it a great read but it also lays the clear fact that Slash will never go back to Guns N Roses. Sad to say, but the whole GNR reunion with the original members or even just Slash is a pipe dream.

This is some of the best news in my life. I love Velvet Revolver, but STP is my band!.

The VR guys can move on, and get another singer..although he won't be as good as Scott. They're better off without old plastic face (Axl)

STP should pick Dave up as a 2nd guitarist

STP!! They are in my top 5 favorite bands. I would love the opportunity to see them play live. (missed them when they were together)

I can't stand Velvet Revolver. I'm an STP fan, a GNR fan, and not VR. 1+1=0 to me.

YEs!! STP is the best band of the 90s, still underrated though. Loved their style. Although they do kinda "borrow" alot of stuff from other bands like AIC and even Lynyrd Skynyrd..
Super stoked for STP though. Weiland should go back to STP. Have u ever seen VR trying to play STP songs at their concerts!? .. STP deserved better justice...
