Empathica1928 :
three dumb comments in a row

I actually did mistake it for the r&b singer because of all the other awful bands Motley Crue chose for this tour. Why the hell didn't they get some actual hard rock/heavy metal for this? Ugh.

Crue Fest at Jones Beach rocked! I missed Trapt though, but I heard they were good.

I've never heard of these guys before in my life before they got thrown on Cruefest - Just youtubed 'Headstrong' And they seems fairly basic Emo fare.
(And 'Echo' as well - sounds pretty unremarkable to me... TBH, the best parts of CrueFest for me are the Crue, Sixx: AM and papa Roach, although less so since Paramour/re Sessions

This music fest (if you can call it that) is goona be horrible. what happen to good ole hippie music fests? Someone needs to get GOOD bands together and make a music fest.... like Phish or Zeppelin or Jet or Wolfmother... ya know, good bands.

I'd rather take a bullet to the head than see Phish.

um Trapt came out with Headstrong a loooong time ago, so what is "fairly basic Emo fare" now was at the very least much less so then. Just sayin

Oh god... I went to the Tampa CrueFest and Trapt was by far the worst band there. The songs were bad, the best stage presence was their drummer, and even though I got good seats, they were very quiet. They are definitely not the force behind CrueFest!

Trapt is the latest signee to Eleven Seven records and the leading force behind CrueFest.

I was at Cruefest at Jones Beach too xHelllBound and it was ****ing killer. I thought Trapt was boring as hell I think they got potential. Sixx:Am and Buckcherry were very good but I gotta say the best opening band was PapaRoach especially when he jumped into the Ocean. Motley Crue killed it though it was my second time seeing them they dont disappoint great show.

I went to Crue fest in Va and I hated the Trapt performance. Their new song sucks a$$. Its seems so generic.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting Papa Roach to be good, but damn they were awesome. I was left side balcony, terrible seats, but I got a good view of Jacoby jumping in the water. Motley Crue rocks of course, but I wish they sang a little bit more of their songs. At least they sang the verses in their entirety this time around, lol.

Dude, never decide anything based on thngs you hear on UG. Crappy or not, YOU decide. BTW, Buckcherry is a good band too.

MagicalMe202 :
Wouldn't Motley Crue be the "the leading force behind CrueFest"? WTH?! lol I saw the show first day and Trapt was alright, but they only performed 5 or 6 songs in less than a half hour and weren't quite as entertaining as the other bands. They were alright though.

Tha's fair enough Sir - Just passin' my opinion onto it. Its' almost like the Crue are looking for bands that are either on their label or just won;t show them up... Hum

I hate Buckcherry and Papa Roach and I like Trapt.

While I like Trapt though, I definitely think there are other tours that would suit them a LOT better than Cruefest. Crue's just too good.

we saw the fest in Charlotte, and I thought the entire show rawked...b'cherry could have chosen their set list better in my opinion, but I liked...it was good to see mick play well considering his health
