Grandma Drummer Identity Revealed
The identity of a skin-bashing pensioner who recently went viral with the "Grandma Drummer" clip on YouTube has been finally revealed. As the video approached an impressive figure of 3 million views within five days, News8000 revealed that the drummer from the clip is in fact Mary Hvizda, a 63-year-old from Onalaska, Wisconsin. Mary has been playing drums since her teens and went through a series of bands ever since she was introduced to the instrument by her brother at the age of 15. Her last band, a rock act for that matter, broke up in 1990 and she wasn't involved with any group since. "I was having a lot of fun, I really was," Hvizda said. "It makes me proud to think that people still think I'm somewhat good and still think I'm still something they're interested in watching." When it comes to her new nickname, Mary said that it might take some time to get used to. "It's different," Hvizda said. "I can't get used to being called Grandma. I've never had children of my own and I never got married, but I am 63 and that is certainly grandma's age," she laughed. You can check out Mary's story and the clip that brought her YouTube fame below.
