Green Day: Bon Jovi Are 'The Worst Band' We've Toured With
In an interview with Kerrang magazine, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong has claimed that Bon Jovi are the "worst band" that his group has ever toured with. According to NME, the singer stated that he was unimpressed with the band and that the writers of "Livin' On A Prayer" were "no fun" to be on the road with. Armstrong stated that the best band he has ever shared a stage with is The Hives: "The best [band we've shared a stage with] is probably The Hives, they're a great live band. [As for the worst] Oh boy, I have to go with Bon Jovi." Green Day, who are set to release three new albums between now and January of next year, have recently announced a mammoth U.S. and Canadian tour, the dates of which are as follows: 11/26 - Seattle - Paramount Theater 11/27 - Kennewick - Toyota Center 11/29 - Salem Armory - Auditorium 12/01 - Sacramento - Memorial Auditorium 12/02 - Reno Grand Sierra - Resort Grand Theatre 12/04 - Santa Cruz - Civic Auditorium 12/10 - Tempe - Marquee Theatre 01/07 - Green Bay - Resch Arena 01/08 - Rosemont - Allstate Arena 01/10 - Wilkes-Barre - Mohegan Sun Arena 01/11 - Penn State College, PA - Bryce Jordan Center 01/13 - Rochester Blue Cross Arena 01/14 - Pittsburgh - Consol Energy Center 01/16 - Brooklyn - Barclays Center 01/18 - Manchester - Verizon Wireless Arena 01/19 - Uncasville - Mohegan Sun Arena 01/21 - Fairfax - Patriot Center 01/22 - Philadelphia - Liacourias Center 01/24 - Providence - Dunkin Donuts Center 01/25 - Portland - Cumberland Civic Center 01/27 - Quebec City - Colisee Pepsi Arena 01/29 - Toronto - Air Canada Centre 01/30 - Cleveland - Wolstein Center 02/01 - Moline - Wireless Center 02/02 - Madison - Alliant Energy Center 02/04 - Omaha - CenturyLink Arena 02/06 - Broomfield - 1STBANK Center 02/08 - Las Vegas - MGM Grand Garden Arena Billie Joe might not have enjoyed his touring experience with Bon Jovi, but it obviously wasn't as painful as playing in a Bon Jovi tribute act. Back in 2011, Badass Digest found this video of a Bon Jovi tribute band's guitarist rather spectacularly losing it on stage:
