'Jersey Shore' Producer Casting For EDM Reality Show

A US TV producer is reportedly looking to put together the first ever EDM (Electronic Dance Music) reality TV series.

Doron Ofir, whose previous credits include work on "Jersey Shore" and "A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila" launched a casting website titled EDM Casting. Browsing the website, users hear a voiceover asking "Are you the next superstar DJ?" It adds: "The first electronic dance music reality TV show is coming. All producer/ DJs are invited. Start honing your skills."

Further down the webpage is a form to fill in which includes questions such as, "Break down your typical day from the moment you wake up till you call it a night," and "Brag! What are your best assets? Physical, material and social".

Ofir will, no doubt, be hoping to find the next Skrillex or Deadmau5 during the filming of the reality show. Skrillex recently gave Richard Branson a lesson in DJing while Deadmau5 said he would be happy to never make electronic music again, saying "burn it all down, I don't care" during an online rant.

Thanks for the report to NME.com.
