Features: The Alhambra 9p is a beautiful, all solid, concert-quality classical guitar. It is beautifully crafted, has a wonderful tone, is very loud, and is very playable. This is an excellent choice for the serious guitar player. Alhambra model 9p is built by a smaller, more experienced team at the Alhambra facility. It features a lighter, nitrocellulose lacquer finish and a bridge-like cross bracing. All of these factors work together to give this guitar a very beautiful, loud, and refined sound. This guitar is very similar to the 8p, but in a deeper body to give it an even fuller sound. // 10
Sound: For a beginner to intermediate's classical guitarist, this guitar is perfect. You won't need to buy another for a long time as it is close to Concert quality and is the first model of the P line to have completely solid wood. This results in a very balanced warm tone that is very responsive to dynamics and retains good definition and a good palette of different "colorful" tonal options. This guitar will sound good even for a beginner(as long as they have properly shaped nails). Higher end models such as the 11P require more technique and skill to bring out there optimum sound whereas the 9P is much easier to get a good sound out of even if your not too experienced although it will sound better in more capable hands. For the price you can't beat it. // 10
Action, Fit & Finish: Everything was setup perfect. Also got a years worth of free setups from the store. All I have to do is bring in the receipt. Action is just a touch high though. And the finish had one minor knick. Overall the action, fit & finish are perfect. // 9
Reliability & Durability: The guitar is well built and as long as you baby it and avoid hitting it or bumping it it will last a long time, probably outliving the owner. Also make sure you purchase a humidifier for your guitar case, so the neck doesn't crack. great Reliability & Durability. // 10
Impression: I play classical music and this guitar is very capable. The better you are the better it will sound. If this guitar were stolen, I wouldn't be able to buy another since it's expensive but if I could I would. I love the response and palette of different tones and such and the fact that it really inspires you to play and practice because it's such a nice guitar. The better you are the better it will sound really is the case, if you sound bad with this guitar, the problem is most likely you. // 10
