The sound is what attracted me to this manufacturer and this guitar, great clarity, plugged in or just acoustic.

Price paid: £ 470

Purchased from: Manchester

Features: Ok, Features, all solid wood construction, great spruce top, rosewood sides and back, maple binding to the body, ebony fingerboard and bridge, mahogany neck with ebony binding, nanoflex pick up system SH683 I think. Grover tuners Auditorium size, hard case inc. // 9

Sound: The sound is what attracted me to this manufacturer and this guitar, great clarity, plugged in or just acoustic (not boxy like some dreads etc), with each string having great seperation and easily picked out, trebles sparkle and the bass is warm and full, guitar is quite loud without being over powering, for strumming or finger picking the guitar has a very good overall sound and is nicely balanced, it has a quality of sound associated with far more expensive guitars, the pick up can get it sounding a little too trebly if you have the treble set high, but plenty of variation from the pick up system. // 9

Action, Fit & Finish: Set up- Factory set up was poor, action high and tough to play, upon setting my luither to work on it we found the 1st fret to be low and the guitar required a fret dress to play really good, so this was a disappointment without being a shocker, general fit and finish is good with a hi-gloss finish, neck has a satin finish which feels lovely and smooth to play, tuners are great, hold tune really well, now set up properly and a little work she plays great, but marking my score down due to fret issue and original action, but even the best of guitars normally need a good set up etc. // 6

Reliability & Durability: Its already been gigged and sounded sweet, feels like she will last a long time and play well for many years but only time will tell, but I believe its should be a good guitar from here in, all tuners and buttons etc seem very solid and stable, pick up system was reliable and had no issues. // 8

Overall Impression: I play in an acoustic duo and a rock band and the guitar is used in both and does a great job on both fronts, If I lost her I would replace her with the same model, value for money I feel is where this guitar really scores, with a sound that matches more expensive makes and good quality materials used makes it a winner in my book and I am fortuante enough to own a raft of quality guitars, Gibson, Gretsch, Godin, and Fenders and the Faith holds its own but does not have quite such a heavy price tag. // 8
