Wicked sound for such a small piece. Ideal for a home studio or beginner who doesn't want to sacrifice nice sound and a comprehensive feature set for the affordability and small size.

Price paid: C$ 325

Purchased from: Axe Music

Sound: I'm using a Fender Deluxe P-Bass Special with a penchant for the classic R&B sound of James Jamerson. This really does the trick. It's round plenty and has lots of punch. More expensive than others it's size, but INFINITELY better sounding. It causes some buzzing at high volumes though. Fine in studio or practice, but if you're going live or have a loud band, make sure you can plug into a PA system or larger power amp+cab on site. // 9

Reliability & Durability: I've only had this for a few months, but seems very fine and very sturdy. My biggest problem is that my cat likes to scratch the felt material around the sides. I would definitely feel comfortable gigging across the country with this, though I think it's most appropriate as a practice amp. // 10

Overall Impression: Wicked sound for such a small piece. Ideal for a home studio or beginner who doesn't want to sacrifice nice sound and a comprehensive feature set for the affordability and small size. Wish it had adjustable front foot height to tilt it up. Would buy it again if it were lost. // 10
