Price paid: € 125

Purchased from: Marble Yamaha (LPGC)

Sound: I've used this amp with a Yamaha ERB070 and a Ibanez BTB470 and the difference of the sound is awesome, despite of the amp. Is as good (or bad) in all the styles. It has a power of 9W (that's not much) and when you pass from the 45 percent of the volume it starts to distore it. When you pass from the 55 percent of the volume is just horrible. // 4

Reliability & Durability: It has reforced corners that make it quite durable. Also is very small so you can carry it easily to play at a friends home or something like that. // 9

Overall Impression: This amp is from a starter pack and the price is what I guess it could be (the pack cost 250). This amp is perfect for moving around and practising if you are not a snob player, but the sound can be very bad certain times. I strongly recommend you to look anywhere else if you want a performance amp. // 7

Sound: I run this through an old Aria p-bass and generally play zeppelin, deep purple, green day, etc. Through this amp and I do get a pleasant sounding tone out of it but it does tend to get a bit of hum when placed near to power sources. After the sixth volume notch this thing starts distorting badly but, either way, why would you wish to go that far with a bedroom practise amp? You can't exactly get a good variety of tones with this since that the EQ knobs won't do much difference, they'll just give a bit more of "air" to it. // 5

Reliability & Durability: As you can Imagine this is not my gigging amp but it's reliable - I've had it for over 6 years and still running without ever encountering any problems. // 10

Overall Impression: It's great for my home needs and I have played through Marshalls, Fenders, Markbasses and Oranges. To my ears it falls near to the new line of Fender Rumble 15 and Orange Crush 25 and beats the Marshall and Markbass. However, it simply doesn't give you the tonal range of all of them- you have one tone and you either love or hate it. // 8
