Features: The model of my bass is the NS-20005. Here are the features, a neck-through design, maple neck and body, quilted maple top, 24 frets with a rosewood fretboard, transparant finish with EMG HZ pickups/Batolini and an active EQ with bass and treble control. This is a 35" scale and 5 stringer. This is an entry-level, high end model, so it does have a fair bit of nice features. The wood is what you expect on a high quality bass, as well as the finish and the electronics do give you alot of variety. // 10

Sound: I am playing through a Hartke 5000 head with a Yorkville 10x4 cab. I play a variety of music on my own, funk, metal, punk, rock, classic rock, jazz, blues, hip-hop. The thing that drew me to this bass and attracted me is the variety of sounds that can be created. The treble control and bass control give you the ability to vary the tone quite a bit, from an empty spacey, bass feel to a true thumb-man's bass by mixing a little treble with alot of bass. This variety does have a downside; it does not have the distinctive sound of a Fender Jazz or a Ernie Ball Stingray, but this is more of a subtle quality of the bass and not a huge draw back in the least. Also the output on this bass, when cranked is huge, so there is alot of dynamic variety here. // 10

Action, Fit & Finish: The factory set-up was above average, far more than you would expect from a comparably priced bass, when you pick it up. The contstruction is solid and wihtout flaw, but it does not give the feel of a "master" set up (just a professional setup). I found this bass a joy to play when I picked up and the action on this bass is great and I found it almost efortless to play and scale all 35" of this fret board. // 10

Reliability & Durability: The durability and reliability of this ass is not an issue on this bass, it has been knocked over every which way in the 6 years since I bought it and has only a couple minor pin-prick wood dents. // 10

Overall Impression: The look of this bass is fabulous, it look amazing and sounds amazing and most people might guess it to be a 2-3k dollar bass. This bass is a good match for the music I play, and is a good overall entry level-high end bass, the sound is superb and the character is definatly there. The contstruction is flawless and features great too. // 10
