Richness of Content: There is so much content in this book its unbelievable. It is gritty, but real, it is sensual but classy. This book has everything from nice family christmas's to smoking heroin under a bridge. He did not leave out anything of this book. This book is a complete tell all. With all of Keidis's Drug mishapes. It made actually say out aloud. "Why Anthony" he would get clean for like 3 months, going to rehab and NA meetings, then all the sudden out of no where he would want to go do some herion. It was just an amazing story of a man who went from nothing and on his way to certain death. To the front man of one of the most famous band in history. // 10
Style: The writing style is amazing he tells the story's so well that you feel like your actually in the book with him. In the book he discribes Hillel's death. The imagery was strong I felt his pain.
Anonthy told everything in this book no matter how reveiling and left it all on the table. I wish more people could be like him. // 10
Impression: This is a great book, It is a classic story of rags to riches, and the power that drugs can take lives. Anthony did a great job writing this book as well remember even the littlist deatails from his life. The pictures in the book aslo are a great way to his life through through this book. I reconmend this book to everyone even if your not RHCP it is just a great story.It was just an amazing story of a man who went from nothing and on his way to certain death. Also, the first half was a lot more interesting than the second half i thought, the first half had more variety where as the second was mostly "go to rehab, make music, relapse, etc"
Still a great book though, I recommend it to any RCHP fan.
