Sound: I think Aly and Aj are fun to listen to. They have a rock/pop thing going on in every song. A lot of their songs have real meanings for kids today like "Sticks and Stones" which is about kids being bullied or "I Am One Of Them" which realates to child kidnappings. The cool thing about these girls is that for the most part they write their own lyrics and I think that's one of the best things about it because you know this is really coming from them. // 9

Lyrics and Singing: This is a tough one since many think they're lyrics are shallow but take for example "Out of the Blue", "No One" or "In A Second". I think the lyrics to these songs are great. Now on the other hand maybe people would say that "Something More" and "Collapsed" lyrics are shallow. I have read reviews that say that. I think that's true depending on how you look at it, comapred to other songs of that genre. // 9

Impression: If my CD was lost I would definetley get it again. I would compare them to a sort of mix between hilary duff and kelly clarkson. Their best songs from the album would have to include Chemicals React, Shine, Rush, Out Of The Blue, No One. And on this deluxe edition they remade "Something More" and "Collapsed" and turned them into great songs.
I love their Cd and think they're pretty good. The only thing I don't like would have to be their song "I Am One Of Them" It's a song with great meaning but it's one of those songs that you hit the skip button once you get to it cause you just can't hear it more than once. // 9

i luv aly and aj. i have this cd and i think that most of their songs have great lyrics. some songs like something more are sort of shallow, but overall they have a very healthy sound
