Sound: This album's sound is impressive to say the least. It's been fantastically produced, with all the instruments clearly audible and where they should be. Calamaro has always been an experimenting musician, and he has dozens of albums to prove it, even including a tango album. This work of his isn't as experimental as others, but it uses many different styles to embellish the songs, with songs ranging from reggae (Comedor Piquetero) to rock (Los Chicos), to soft ballads (Soy Tuyo), to cumbia (La Espuma de las Orillas), it has what it takes to please everybody. // 10

Lyrics and Singing: Calamaro has set a high standard when it comes to lyrics, and it's an incredible thing that, even with 25 years of making music behind him, he hasn't lost that spark. This album's lyrics are mostly oriented towards society, something not strange in his writing but this time it's much more present than in other past work of his. As usual, his writing is loaded with metaphors, which adds a lot to the album because it's impossible to figure out what the lyrics are about in just one hearing of it. But, as anyone who has heard his music before knows, it's always worth it trying to decipher his message, because once you get it, you realize how fantastic his writing is. // 10

Impression: This CD is probably amongst the best of Calamaro, and when you're talking about an artist with so many years of career, so many bands and projects, and someone with a standard as high as Calamaro's, this is no small achievement. There was nothing I was displeased with in this album, from the packaging with illustrations made by Liniers to the mind-blowing music it contains. It won't be a let down to anyone, be it someone who's been following Calamaro all this time or be it someone new to his music. This album is a masterpiece, highly recommended. // 10
