Sound: "Polaroids & Pornographie" is the second album of the astonishing French metal band AqME, and what a crazy record this is. As it's title may suggest (Polaroids & Pornography) is an extremely hot CD. I think in fact that this record is the one who has the most style in AqME's history. The music is a lot more poetic and even sometimes romantic. The music isn't as dark as in the other cds of the band, but it still has got the necessary dose of energy and madness that makes AqME so special! The guitar parts are still a lot distorted, and so is the bass too. I would say that Etn, the drummer has never been in such a top-form than in the "Polaroids & Pornographie" period. As for Koma's voice, it is still the same: simply beautiful. // 9

Lyrics and Singing: AqME are well known for their very dramatic lyrics, I would say, but in this cd, they tried something new: they wrote a lot of love songs. I think this is just an enormous improvement from them in the lyrics domain. They didn't only tried to write some good lyrics, they also made them romantic, in one word: beautiful. // 9

Impression: When I first listened to this CD, I thought I was becoming mad! The same day, I immediatly bought some tickets for the "Polaroids & Pornographie Tour." This CD just means everything to me: it proves once again that AqME is the best band from the french metal scene. It is not too late to change your ideas about france, as you can see, behind the whine and the cheeses, you'll find what I call "real music." // 9
