Sound: Bob Dylan, the creator of folk rock, had an amazing career. From acoustic solo albums to electric band setups, and both of these are present in this album. This is one of the many 'essential' albums the Columbia Records has released. Basically, this album features folk and folk rock stylings in it. // 10

Lyrics: Bob Dylan is probably the greatest songwriter of all time. From his early anti-war "Blowin' In The Wind," to his newer(and one of my favorites), "Things Have Changed" and everything in between contains perfect rhyming with matching music behind it. While some people may find Dylan's singing to be mechanical-sounding and hard to understand, I still think of him as a great vocalist. // 10

Overall Impression: This is probably one of the best Dylan compliations around, at a very resonable price. From classics like "Mr. Tambourine Man," "Knockin' On Heaven's Door," and of course, "Like A Rolling Stone" to songs from newer, less known albums, like "Silvio" and "Everything Is Broken" most of Dylan's inventiveness could be summerized to this album. However, this album does have a few flaws, like no "Highway 61 Revisited" or "Desolation Row," but not every album is perfect. All in all, this is one of my favorite compliation albums ever. // 9
