Sound: This album came out in 1997, 3 years after the band was formed in Witchita Falls TX. There are quite a few styles used in this album. There is some ska influence, in that there is brass and sax used in it also power pop and some older punk influence. The ska mixes well with '80s metal influence that is very smart and creative. All in all the sound of this album is very different, but very good nonetheless. // 9

Lyrics: The lyrics in this album are just what youd expect from BFS. Songs about broken relationships but not really caring about broken relationships Also the names of the songs have nothing to do wioth the subject so if you look at the CD and say these songs are stupid, just give it a try. Jaret Reddick is a pretty goo singer but this is a re-release of an album recorded a few years ago so you can't hear the singing as well as other recordings. // 8

Overall Impression: This CD I'd say isn't as good as other BFS albums but also keep in mind that this is an early album and so therefore wouldn't be as musically innovative and talent hasn't developed as much as it has to the present. All in all a great album worth buying and telling others about but still not as good as other BFS Albums. // 9
