Sound: 'Feel Good Lost' is an abstract and surrealistic dream brought to reality by Broken Social Scene. I guess that's the only way I can describe this album, briefly. This is definitely an ambient-pop prodigy thanks to it's marvelous experimentation with sounds and the atonishing use of diverse musical instruments. The vocals are obviously not the focus of the songs, since they serve same purpose as the rest of the instruments. Violins, guitars, keyboards, bass, trumpets, trombone, synthesizers, and even banjo, mix all together to create an atmosphere of tranquillity, serenity and simplicity that transports you away from the place you are without even noticing. There is no rush in this music, everything seems to flow in the most harmonious way. // 10

Lyrics and Singing: Well, these are instrumentals, so there are no proper 'lyrics' here. These songs are not supposed to have them, it would just break the connection between you and the music, that has been created in a meticulous way. So, in this case, the lack of lyrics is just perfect. // 8

Impression: It's true, this is not the kind of album everyone could just buy and enjoy immediately, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. In fact, it is amazing. It is mellow, complex and simple at the same time. 'Feel Good Lost' emphasizes the emotional part of the songs to bring the real richness of this music. Every song is like a 'rite', with the only purpose to evoke feelings and sensations you probably never felt before. This album is completely different every single listening, that's the grace and elegance of this album. Perfect for intimate listening on headphones, this way you'll discover how special, exquisite and consistent this album is. // 10
