Sound: This is the debut album of nu-metal band Cinder. Unfortunately this album was never released but the songs are available on youtube for listening. A single was released though called "Soul Creation" which charted at 26th and was featured on many video games such as NHL 2004 and MX Unleashed The sound is mixed in this album. There are very heavy songs like "Soul Creation" and "Please God" and there are some acoustics such as "She Said" and "Lush". The guitars, drums, bass and vocals all fit together really well and create a sometimes unique sound. The sounds are unique at some times but other times they sound just like any other nu-metal band. // 8

Lyrics and Singing: The lyrics are kind of cool. Some songs seem to make very little sense to the average listener but others like "She Said" are quite deep and meaningful. There is a metal ballad in the album called "Tomorrow" which is very good. There is some screaming in "Soul Creation", softer singing in "She Said" and even a bit of rapping in "Whistlin' Pete". // 8

Impression: Break Your Silence is a debut album so it's not the greatest album ever made but it is a good listen. It ranks fairly well against other rock and nu-metal bands. The best songs from the album are definately Soul Creation, She Said, Concuela and the amazing album closing Daddy. This will appeal to most people but it will definately attract teenagers. Overall this album is good, but like lots of debuts it has some things wrong with it. // 9
