Sound: Alot of this album has a very "guitary" feel and the use of 3 Guitarists in the band is their strong point. Every song offers catchy Guitar riffs that will stick in your mind for a long time. However, sometimes the Riffs used can seem abit boring after a while. // 8

Lyrics and Singing: The lyrics in this album are very good and have been thought about for a long time, however occaisonally these may get slightly repetitive after a while, which could lead a few people away from the album. // 4

Impression: The Merseyside 6 Piece called the Coral released Magic and Medicine in the summer of 2003, is fairly different to their previous album. This album is a definate buy for any fans of The Coral or Indie music in general. Even newcomers to The Coral will enjoy this album to some extent. However it is lacking in some aspects, but the catchy guitar riffs used make up for it. // 8
