Sound: Being a live album, one often tends to listen with the preconception that the singing is bad, the guitars are out of tune, the acoustics are shocking, and the crowd is annoying. When you put this album in your CD player, hang those preconceptions, they do not apply to this album. Being three of the best singers in CCM, and the most succesful religious band ever, DC Talk do not allow mistakes such as poor quality of sound to feature in any of their music. The guitars are slick and crisp, with enough edge to get you out of your seat at home, the song selection cannot be disputed, and to top it all, the crowd is not even a distraction! // 9

Lyrics: Having written 2 books, a novella, and several poetry books between them, the members of DC Talk are undoubtedly lyrical genuises in their genre, though not only for the christian listener, but for a worldwide audiences. Clear themes and motif's prevail with A-grade listen-ability, and the quality of the singing on this live album only enhances these words. On subject matters such as happiness, wasting talents, salvation, mistakes, love, and many others, lyrics manage to peel away from cliche, and instead provide fresh innovation. // 9

Overall Impression: One of the best sounding live albums you'll here, and even if you do not like the style of music, you can't not take your hat off to the boys from DC Talk for providing an album as good as any recorded, and in my opinion better. My only concern with the album is that it was not longer: a second CD from another tour, or another location on the Welcome To The Freakshow tour would not have gone amiss. It undoubtedly, however, contains most of DC Talk's greatest hits, and is executed so well it may as well be their Greatest Hits! // 9
