Sound: The Jam were probably the most successful band in Britain, they released sensational hits and superb hits. But they were not good at one thing - playing live. 'Live Jam' is a collection of live songs played across the UK, and the quality of the songs were poor. And there was no sign of 'Going Underground' and 'Start!' The poorest songs played live were 'Move On Up', 'Burning Sky' and 'Precious'. Only three songs out of 24 were alright, they were 'Mr. Clean', 'Pretty Green' and 'The Butterfly Collector'. Avoid buying this album, because the sound was completely awful. // 5

Lyrics: All of the songs contained amazing lyrics from Paul Weller. Credit to Paul Weller for writing these sensational songs, but what on earth was going on with his singing skills? He was diabolical, and that was why The Jam were never good playing live. // 5

Overall Impression: This is the only live album that The Jam have produced. Never even think about buying this album. The most impressive songs played live were 'Mr. Clean', 'Pretty Green' and 'The Butterfly Collector'. I don't like anything about this album at all. What I hate about it was the poor quality of playing live. If this album got stolen/lost, I would never buy it again. To end this review, 'Live Jam' is a complete waste of money. // 3
