Sound: After the release of 1979's Hell Bent For Leather, it was clear Judas Priest was setting themselves up for commerical success. Their sound had evolved from a blues style rock band into a more dark, crunchy metal band. British Steel is perhaps the most accessible metal album of all-time. The machine gun riffs, shotgun drumming and operatic singing are supplied in full arsenal. // 10

Lyrics and Singing: The lyrics are somewhat juvenile compared to other metal contemporaries. The music however on this album make this factor irrelevant. There are many anthem-ready, arena tunes that have been given full rotation for 26 years, most notably "Living After Night" and "Breaking The Law". // 8

Impression: British Steel was step two in Priest's catalog as far as commerical success goes. Hell Bent for Leather knocked the hinges loose, British Steel cracked the door and Screaming for Vengeance knocked down the door and through the threshold they went. There are only one or two sub-par tracks on the whole album. This is really a solid release by a solid, legendary band. There isn't a whole hell of a lot you can criticize this album over. These guys were (still are) the real deal in the metal world. // 10

Sound: The style of the album is great is so different in comparation with other albums of the same time, the albums it's awesome, maybe compared with the previous albums this is the best, beacuse not only change the sound and the creativity of your career, aslo change the heavy metal music it's the greats albums of all time, this album has inspired many people and that is the reason to say, how great is this album. // 10

Lyrics and Singing: The way to see the World is very awesomee, Those lyrics epitomize Heavy Metal attitude. In this album is clear that judas priest had searched something special to make a masterpiece, they created anthems like "Breaking the law", "Living after midnight ""Rapid fire" that have lasted to many, many years

The pronuciation is fastastic the lirics and the music is a couple of elements to create one of the best metal albums, at that time rob halford was young and he had a powerfull voice that maked a style of sing for the next generation of heavy metal singers. // 10

Impression: This albums is incomparable I don't saying that this albums is the best only but this albums is unique in its kind.

Is very difficult to decide "what is the best song? But y only say that all record is awesome. British Steel was a greats succes of judas priest However, what always matter the most was the music and that is the reason to believe that british steel don't have bad points.

Is there really a better Heavy Metal record, ever? Well, I'm not sure, but it's worthy of debate. // 10
