Sound: Kottonmouth Kings have been around for a while even though MTV and radio doesn't play any of their songs. This is the King's seventh albulm and definitely one of their best. It's definitely an improvement from Fire It Up. Dj Bobby B creates some phat beats on this cd especially on "The Munchies," "King Klick," "Put It Down" and many more. The CD tends to be more rap than rock but there are a couple of punk tracks like "Slow Suicide" and "Revolution" thanks to Daddy X. Overall the sound department is a okay with me. // 10

Lyrics and Singing: The name of the band pretty much describes most of the lyrics. The Kings sing about topics ranging from the popular mary jane to corruption in society. The 3 main rappers in this group are Johnny Richter, D-Loc, and Daddy X. All 3 write some great rhymes. They're voices are those of a couple of guys from Cali just wanting to be heard. D-Loc is the one that stands out the most with his voice. On "Put It Down" the kings collaborate with Cypress Hill which is one of my favorite songs on the record. The lyrics department is good. // 8

Impression: The Kottonmouth Kings have created an albulm that surpasses Fire It Up. It's got some sick beats thanx to DJ Bobby B. Some awesome lyrics thanx to Daddy X, D-Loc, and Johnny Richter. What more could you want from these suburban kids. My Top five songs are: "King Klick," "Make It Hot," "Revolution," "Put It Down" and "Watch Your Back." The CD is tight. If you're a stoner, you'll love it. So do yourself a favor and get with the king klick. // 10

Why the hell is this on UG? Why the hell is this even considered music? How talented are you, when every song you sing about consists of the same damn thing, over and over, and over, and over. Yes, marijuana is fun, yes, being high is fun. Just because you partake in it, does not mean you have to sing about in every god damned "song". I don't see people that enjoy going to say, NASCAR events starting about band that sings about 99 percent NASCAR. Stupid conformist pot heads.
