Sound: This is a compilation from my favorite record label out there right now, Run For Cover Records. They feature manly Hardcore/punk and indie rock bands on their label and this compilation as well. Like I said before since the bands on this compilation cross genre's there is quite a bit of a mix of sound but its a happy medium between half punk and half indie. Some of the bands on the compilation include Tigers Jaw, Balance And Composure, Make Do And Mend and Polar Bear Club. // 9

Lyrics and Singing: The bands on this compilation all have great singers the shutout act in my opinion being Tigers Jaw have great lyrics and vocals including three singers. The rest of the indie rock side of the compilation is mildly generic lyrically but with good beats and sounds to them. As far as the punk side of things go the Make Do And Mend and Polar Bear tracks have really good lyrics and the vocalists are very unique as well. // 9

Impression: This is definitely worth downloading even buying a hard copy, it features a great set of songs from amazing bands on a great independent label. This is for anyone who likes Tigers Jaw, Make Do And Mend, Balance And Composure, CSVST, The Menzingers, Day Trader or Polar Bear Club which are all on this compilation. So go out and get it, you can find it on iTunes or on runforcoverrecords.com. // 9
