Sound: From the opening chords to the final scream, Municipal Wastes newest album is relentless, unleashing 13 rapid songs in under a half hour. The machine gun drums and heavy guitar riff's combined with Foresta's assaulting but harmonic yells is enough to get everyone in the room air drumming and head banging, complete with a mean sneer. Waste doesn't stray far from their previous sound, but songs such as "The Wrath Of The Severed Head" and "Media Skeptic" do have a punk rock influence. Massive Aggressive earned its name, and has done a fine job of bringing punks and metal heads together. // 10

Lyrics and Singing: Cannibals, Nuclear Accidents, Massacres, and Severed Heads are among many topics shared in Massive Aggressive. Foresta brings his voice in new directions, sometimes going higher or lower in pitch. Ryan Waste contributes his voice to a few songs, making it all the more heavy and mean. Both have voices that do the thrash genre justice. // 9

Impression: Municipal Waste has done a fine job with Massive Aggressive, adding new elements while not abandoning their roots. Some may find some of the songs repetitive, but each song does have its own uniqueness and style that wouldn't work any other way. If this album were stolen from me, I would have to buy another copy, or just steal it back. // 10
