Sound: The electro-pop sound that PlayRadioPlay! has been brining for years has never seen much change, but for good reason. In modern music it's hard for electro to actually, well, be good, but they pull it off fantastically. You'll have the songs stuck in your head for days and days to come as you find yourself dancing to the sometimes funny, sometimes happy beats. It's possible that Daniel Hunter, founding member, will make texas-straightcore the new big hit in the music scene. // 8
Lyrics and Singing: Daniel Hunters songs and singing have always been something that isn't seen all to often. Some would say he sounds like a little kid, some would say he sounds much older than he really is. Either way, it's a voice that when you hear it you most surely know who it is that your listening to. Lyrically, he writes about what ever he feels like writing about. From the singe, Madi Please Don't Leave, which is about his long lasting relationship with his girlfriend Madi (couldn't you guess) to the Corner Office Is Not My Home, which takes a que from Skid Row and discusses working your life away. If you like cheesy lyrics, then is where to go. // 9
Impression: Overall, this CD deserves to be picked up by anyone, regardless of taste. Because it's not emotional, it's not dark, it's a good time that you'll be boping along to for months to come. You can be sure to be hearing these tracks for a while! // 9
