how could you possibly say anything bad about these guys. i saw them live two weeks ago with GWAR! and man dude they are the epitamy of rock n roll music man. amazing stuff. if u have a chance to check these guys out live defintely do it! the cd is also worth a major look! and whats wrong with being stuck in the 70's!?! thats where the best music in the world came from!

VHspazzaz :
in the midst of this emo music era we are going through now, i have nothing against emo music its just that slot is too repetitive... priestess is just a refresher to all the repetitiveness that i keep hearing... bottom line: priestess rocks

Since when it's not good for a rock Band to be stuck in the 70's...WFT!?!?!?!? The best music was made in the 70's... Priestess is just a great band! (plus it's Canadian!)

Willy_Gizzle :
Stunning album, some great songs, like I Am The Night and Everything That You Are. One small complaint is that the drummer uses far too many cymbals where most drummers would just use hi-hat. Not being a drummer, I'm not sure if he's a bad drummer, or if it's the production making the drums stand out too much. But the songs themselves are great.

Yankees1JR :
Agree with past posters (esp. starchild) 70s stuff rocked, which is why the bands are now legends (something the reviewer must have forgotten.) Bands out now suck, and I want classic rock and metal to save us from punk rock just like they did in the late 70s-early 80s. Callin for more Priestess, a GNR reunion, anything to get rid of this punk/emo crap. Great band, great sound, keep the magic comin.

Priestess give hope to metal,
without using screams.
I think that's as good as it gets. Rock on boys.

Dragon Master :
This album is awesome rock and roll music. It is sheer proof that independent rock music is the real thing. There are three bands that call to mind the great music Led Zeppelin made and those are Wolfmother, Black Mountain, and this band.

thomouze :
this is one of the best bands i know... seriously, they really rock.. as for now, i'm looping for hours "no real pain", this song probly is the best in the album, along with lay down, living like a dog and a few others... don't you agree?? XD
