Sound: The sound is very epic sounding. Almost over the top but it's Rhapsody so you almost have to expect that. Everything come right through, the bass is even audible. The sing along chorus's feel amazing, makes you just want to get up and slay some orcs. They mix it up with the songs so they don't all sound the same. The only down side is it starts to feel old after a while. // 9
Lyrics and Singing: Well it's Power Metal and corny lyrics are a given. Riding into the sun and defeating the evil never gets old, but it takes a certain person to think of that stuff and Luca Turilli can write some good lyrics. The singer's voice fits right in with the music, having a diverse range helps. On "When Demons Awake" it starts off with some low growling which keeps it fresh but goes right back into the higher singing. // 9
Impression: Overall this is an amazing album, any fan of power metal should pick this up, you will not be disappointed. If your not a fan of power metal then this will be so-so to you. The artwork is by far one of my favorite CD cover ever, a dragon shooting flames, can't get better then that. Standout tracks: Knightrider Of Doom, Power Of The Dragonflame, The March Of The Swordmaster, Lamento Eroico (Mellows It Down A Bit). If I lost this album I would go out that day and buy a new one. // 9
