Sound: U2's sound is truly amazing. When you combined Bono's out of this world Vocals, The Edge's aw inspiring riff's, Adams thundering bass, Larry's driving drum beats you get a sound like no other. U2 is truly one of the worlds greatest rock bands (if not the greatest). You get it all, From beauitiful guitar riff's like in Pride. To lovely piano sounds in Sweetest Thing. Even some blues by B.B. King in When Love Comes To Town. But you cannot forget Bono's amazing vocals in With Or Without You. // 9
Lyrics and Singing: The lyrics are spot on. Each song is it's own wonderful poem. Bono and The Edge are great poets, as well as Singers. If you rate them on a scale of one to ten, Bono is an eleven and the Edge is a nine. Both of them make the lyrics come alive. // 9
Impression: This is a must own CD. It has most of the biggest hit's of the '80s. There are a few I wish they would have in cluded that are not there. Like Bullet The Blue Sky, Electric Co. But other than that, this cd shows that U2 had what it took to be huge back then, and they have still got it today. // 9
