Sound: A different sound to earlier U2 stuff, but easily just as good, with just as much feeling, thought and quality behind the music including the best song ever recorded (according to a recent VH1 (I think) poll) The Edge is still showing off his knowledge. // 8

Lyrics: The Lyrics are just as thought Provoking as any other U2 album out there, Bono has not made it any easier on himself by continually writing brilliant songs, it leaves him with a very hard task of following them up, but with the songs selected for this album it easily shows that he can do it, One is the most thought provoking song I have heard since, well, ever. Beautiful Day, the hands that built america, well, this album is full of wonderful songs. // 10

Overall Impression: The Only Other U2 Albums I would recommend apart from this one are the best of 1980-1990 and the Joshua tree, One and Stuck in a moment almost make the album worth buying, but when you factor in the B Sides disk and the promo DVD you won't regret buying it. // 10
