Sound: U2's first live album was Live: Under a Blood Red Sky. The event took place at Red Rocks, Germany. The concert was one of U2's most famous and greatest concerts to date. The sound on Under a Blood Red Sky was awsome. It almost makes you fell like you were there. The sound quality was amazing for it's time, especially for the early 80's. You can hear every instrument well and The Edge does amazing work with his guitar. You can hear the crowd go wild on his solos. Bono is awsome with his singing, and Larry Mullen Jr. and Adam Clayton did awsome on keeping the rythm. // 10

Lyrics: U2 were very political in the 80's and even now. In songs like Sunday Bloody Sunday Bono would sing about war and the events in Northern Ireland. Other songs can be whatever Bono wants them to be about. Bono does a great job singing the songs and you can hear him pumping up the crowd. He does a graet job delivering Sunday Bloody Sunday's massage. // 10

Overall Impression: This is possible one of the best live records ever (up there with AC/DC: Live at Donington Castle and Kiss: Alive). U2 prove in this record that they put on one of the best live shows ever. U2 can still be a very political band and still give one of the best live shows in rock! If your a U2 fan and has never seen them live, I suggest you by this album along with U2: Live at Slane Castle and Live at Boston. U2 playing live is an experiance you will not want to miss. // 10
