Sound: This is a "classic" hair metal album, from a great hair metal band, Warrant. Although the title track is easily the best song on the album, most of the rest are still decent songs, and almost all the songs are very different from each other. There are great guitar riffs, catchy lyrics on this album, and very little filler. This is easily Warrant's best album, and if you enjoy this you might also like Ratt, Twisted Sister, and Quiet Riot. As you progress deeper into the album, you'll find softer more melodic songs such as Blind Faith, Song And Dance Man. Overall, this is just a great CD with great variety, if you like hair metal at all, I'm sure you'll enjoy this. // 10
Lyrics and Singing: Lyrics are catchy, and go well with the music, which can not be said for some of Warrant's other CDs. Although released when the hair metal era just about ended, the lyrics, sound and singing style showed a classic hair metal band. // 9
Impression: It is hard to sort out the "great" songs from a great album such as this one. They're all good, but the best are: Cherry Pie, Uncle Tom's Cabin, I Saw Red, and Blind Faith. Worthy of comparison to earlier bands such as Poison, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Guns N' Roses, and Twisted Sister. the music on this album is either upbeat, loud, and in your face (Cherry Pie, Bed Of Roses, You're The Only Hell Your Mama, Train, Train) or soft, quiet and melodic, something you will find calming, which usually doesn't occur in hair metal (I Saw Red, Song And Dance Man, Blind Faith). This and Skid Row, by Skid Row, two of the best albums of later hair metal bands; buy it now! // 9
